Rainbow Makers

The Hittyville Homeschoolers are enjoying a playtime on this beautiful late summer afternoon.

 

Bella Merry sent out an email earlier this week asking the Homeschooling Moms if their younger children might like to meet 2 mornings a week for some art and craft lessons.  She is happy everyone responded positively.

 

Frida is so busy with her baby and Paulette is back working on her dolls, so they don't have the time to organize the art time, but they will help.

Frida and Paulette have just the Friend in mind to undertake this enrichment program for their children.

 

The rest of the Moms are in agreement about who should be the teacher...There really is only one Friend with the patience and imagination and experience for this job.

 

That evening at Hittyville Hall...

The Homeschooling Moms are holding their monthly meeting to share their curriculum ideas for September.

 

Bella moves their Homeschooling Group start an Art and Craft class 2 days a week beginning in September and continuing through May.

 

Paulette seconds the motion and moves Vicki be the teacher of this wonderful artistic endeavor.

 

Betty seconds the motion and asks Vicki if she would do their children the honor of being their art teacher.

 

Vicki is humbled by her Friends' request and enthusiastically agrees.

She already has an idea for a name of the class...Rainbow Makers!

And she will ask Joe about building an art room.

 

The Hittyville Homeschooling Moms decide to vote for the sake of formality and it is unanimous.

The Hittyville Homeschoolers will also become Rainbow Makers!

 

It was the best of days for the future of the little Hittyville Homeschooling Friends.
