I was shocked to discover the talented author of the Junie B. Jones books passed away last week. I absolutely love the character and have eight of the books myself. During my teaching years, the siblings of my preschoolers would be in the cars at pickup time and very often I would see noses stuck in a Junie B. Jones adventure.
Thank you, Barbara Park, for the gift of a spirited 6 year old and the delightful stories which will live on forever...
