Joe will be turning 65 in May...HOW DID THAT HAPPEN...and we are researching the whole Medicare world. My sister, Cassi, was most helpful and we are checking with friends about which supplemental insurances they are using for comparison purposes. We now understand Parts A and B. We will probably end up paying what we pay now for Joe.
It is surreal to read about coverage for nursing homes, hospice, and all things associated with the not so pleasant side of aging.
As my old sociology teacher from high school used to say...
"Adjust or perish...It is the law of life."
Amen to that, dear departed Mr. O'Donnell.
