A New Partnership

Woodlee Press is bustling with activity on this cold January day.

Ivy wonders if her Editor has heard about Vicki writing a book for the French Press.  Vicki has always had her books published by Woodlee Press!

 Audrey has not heard that disturbing bit of news and will find out if it is even true!

Later...

Vicki tells Audrey she was just going to call her about a new development regarding a "commissioned" book deal.

Audrey can't hide her disappointment and hopes this doesn't mean the end of their wonderful working relationship.  Audrey personally edits Vicki's books and considers her more of a friend than a client.

Vicki explains to Audrey she told the French Press she agreed do the Paris Alphabet Book as long as Woodlee Press would be partners in the publication.

The Editor agreed and will be getting in contact with Audrey.

As the old Scouting song goes...

Make new friends

But keep the old 

One is silver

And the other's gold.

Audrey is thrilled she will not lose her favorite author AND Woodlee Press will now be associated with the very prestigious French Press.
