I might have mentioned I am reading at least a couple chapters a day in three of my beloved book series...The Bobbsey Twins, Judy Bolton, and the Happy Hollisters.
I decided to organize all my Judy Bolton books and see if I was missing any.
This little handbook lists most of my book series titles and offers a brief summary of the storyline.
Hmm...I seem to have an extra book.
The Spirit of Fog Island was published in 1951...It is missing from this list.
Mystery solved! The book WAS listed on the Wikipedia site.
It must have been an oversight.
I do own the original 38 books...I actually have some doubles...written by the very talented Margaret Sutton, who passed away at the age of 98 in 2001.
But there is a 39th book published in 2012.
This title was to be the next book in the series, but unfortunately Judy Bolton was dropped by the publishing company.
The family graciously allowed the book to be written and printed by Applewood Books and from what I understand, is totally in keeping with Margaret Sutton's previous books.
I ordered it today.
I also ordered the 8th and final season of Mannix, which Joe, Brooke, and I are addicted to.
Brooke calls Joe Mannix her latest "boyfriend".
The girl has great taste in men!
