The barn is finished and Joe is ready to give Vicki a tour.
Vicki can't wait to see what Joe has been doing inside the barn...No one has been allowed in to see the progress...not even her!
Joe has made himself a little workshop area, including a laundry section for all the heavy duty washing and drying that goes along with farm life.
Vicki is very impressed...especially because Joe does most of the laundry...along with Brooke.
The stalls are ready for their animals, who will come to live on Rabbit Hill Farm as soon as the corral is finished.
Joe has a surprise for Vicki up in the loft of the barn.
Vicki is overwhelmed by Joe's "gift" of her own Sacred Space.
Joe knows Vicki has an art studio and Pixie Cottage. But those are places where everyone is welcome and there is always a beehive of activity going on.
Joe thought Vicki needed a place to recharge...to think, pray, be inspired...a place to just BE.
Vicki's thoughtful husband furnished the loft with a few items, but thought his wife might enjoy making this special place her own...
Vicki is overcome with gratitude and love.
A bit later...
Vicki wonders how she is ever going to be able to tear herself away from her beloved farm and family for an entire month...
She must talk to Joe.
~To be continued~
How wonderful! Joe is a keeper for sure! Love the barn and your special little hideaway upstairs. What a thoughtful hubby Joe is. Lucky lady! Although, you are pretty special yourself and deserve to have someone as sweet as you are. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your very kind words, Carolyn! Joe is the best and is now building Vicki a Conservatory! Wow! I just visited your blog and am happy to see you are embracing your "simpler" lifestyle and finding a sense of peace about it. Life is an adventure and the scenery will definitely change now and then...You seem to be enjoying your present view~~
