A Very Merry Bon Voyage Party

Charlie and Granny Edna love taking care of the Merry Family and will have much to do when Bella and Poppy spend their month in Paris.
But for right now, there is a farewell party going on and there is still food to prepare and serve!

The Hittyville Friends all look forward to constant updates from Paris.

Bella thanks her Friends and Family for "keeping an eye" on her husband and children while she is traveling.

Getta and John will be the "substitute parents" when Thomas is on a couple of Time Travel Adventures during the next four weeks.

Bella is especially thrilled her youngest, Bea, is looking forward to spending the month with her Merry Grandparents.

Rupert has promised to build Bea a dollhouse and Lydia is planning a complete wardrobe for the beloved "Baby".

Becassine, Pierre and Eloise are packed and eager to visit their hometown.
Paris holds many memories, but their hearts are now rooted in Hittyville.
Eloise will enjoy teaching a seminar and Pierre can't wait to discuss the Picasso Exhibit bound for Hittyville.

Vicki is happy with her decision to remain in Hittyville...as is Joe.
Gwendolyn has decided to talk to her husband tonight about his secret.  She is bursting with curiosity.

Minnie wonders if Beatrix Potter might be offering any art classes for young artists this winter.  She has been working on her pencil drawings and would like some tips on how to keep improving.  Poppy was going to help her, but she will be gone for such a long time and busy with her book.
Beatrix thinks Minnie has a wonderful idea and will keep her posted.

Simon and Johnny make plans to sail their raft down Porter Creek next week...just like Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer!
Simon and Johnny are the best of friends and Simon will be spending most nights at the Elliott Homestead while his mother is in Paris.

Simon is going to ask his father if he can take Joey and himself on his next Time Travel Adventure.
Maybe they can visit some Pirates from long ago!

Poppy is sharing her innermost thoughts with her best friend, Vicki.  She is a bit nervous about leaving Hittyville for a whole month and hopes she is up to the task of writing the Paris Alphabet Book.
Vicki reassures Poppy she will definitely be able to create the book and insists the month will go by in a flash.
The Friends promise to FaceTime one another at least once a day...
Poppy feels MUCH better!
