A Change of Heart

Vicki shares with Joe she has decided not to spend a month in Paris.

The timing is just not right.  Vicki wants to help select the farm animals with Joe, finish up the Rainbow Makers Classroom so she can begin classes sooner rather than later, help plan the Conservatory Joe is starting to build, and then there is her latest project, a "Clubhouse" of sorts for her Art From the Heart group.
Vicki is a homebody and her imagination is all she needs to travel.
She must talk to Bella and Audrey from Woodlee Press as soon as possible.

Joe tells his wife he supports whatever decision she makes...and is secretly happy she won't be away from him for such a long time.

At the Grandparents Homestead...
Vicki explains her change of heart about traveling to Paris with her friends.

Bella agrees Vicki's plate is full and totally understands.

Bella's father, Pierre, will be happy to take Vicki's place.  He was planning on visiting the Picasso Museum in Paris soon because there are plans to place a small permanent Picasso Exhibit in Hittyville sometime this summer.

Bella also tells Vicki she has an idea who might take over the Paris Alphabet Book project...If Vicki doesn't mind, Bella will discuss it with Audrey.

Vicki is relieved her change of plans were met with kindness and understanding!

Later at the Woodlee Press office...
Audrey is eager to hear what Bella has in mind for the Paris Alphabet Book.  Vicki called to let her know about her change of plans and that Bella had an idea.

Bella thinks her daughter, Poppy, would be the perfect author/artist to create a Paris Alphabet Book for children.

Audrey enthusiastically agrees with Bella.  She has seen Poppy's work and considers her quite a talent!  She will get in touch with the French Press and let Bella know what they think.

The next day...
Bella has an exciting offer for Poppy to consider.

Bella tells her daughter the whole story of Vicki's change of heart and wonders if Poppy would like to write and illustrate a Paris Alphabet Book for children.  The French Press has approved the project.

Poppy cannot believe this amazing turn of events!  She sure hopes she isn't dreaming.
Poppy can't wait to get started.  This is the happiest news...ever!

~It was the best of days for EVERYONE~
