Brooke's Very Painful Day

Brooke spends hours every single day on her feet teaching.  She rarely sits at her desk...in fact, her students take turns working away on their math at Brooke's desk...a treat they all enjoy.

After a busy day teaching, Brooke works out at Curves...religiously!
She started a new and rigorous program there and her Achilles tendon rebelled...BIG TIME.

Yesterday...another snow day for my teacher children...Brooke came to me crying and said she needed some professional medical care because the pain in her heel was so intense and spreading up her leg.
We ended up at Q Care and the hospital to get X-Rays taken.
Brooke has tendonitis and needs to rest her heel.  She also had a fever due to the inflammation.
Poor Brooke!

Today, Brooke is resting her foot and leg, and hopes to be back teaching tomorrow...from a chair!
And my daughter is slowly accepting there will be NO exercising for a while.
It matters not the age of your children...a mother never likes seeing her "babies" in any kind of pain...physically or emotionally.

Let the healing continue...
