Bella has brought Poppy to Place de la Bastille for her Letter B page.
The July Column stands in the square where the famous Bastille Prison once stood and represents Liberty to the French people. The horrible jail was destroyed during the French Revolution and the event is known as the Storming of the Bastille, which occurred way back in 1789.
The Opera Bastille is located on the same spot the prison once occupied.
Bella hopes they will be able to take in an opera during their brief stay in this amazing city.
Poppy will use the Opera Bastille for her Letter O page for her book.
Time is flying by and she needs to cover at least 2 letters a day!
Poppy is famished and thinks the Place de la Bastille Cafe is the perfect place to have lunch!
And after lunch...back to the Loft to work on her book!
