How To Balance The Life Of An Artist

Vicki needs the advice of her good artist friends.  She wonders how she can take her online classes, do the artwork assignments, journal and illustrate her Playbook, blog her adventures, read, spend time with her animals, etc. on a daily basis.

Grandma Moses advises her friend to rotate projects and not worry if all her areas of interest aren't "visited" on a daily basis.

Beatrix Potter suggests making a schedule to keep focused.

Tasha Tudor agrees being an artist takes a bit of organization, but it can all be done...just not everything in one day.

Vicki feels relieved!  She just needs to plan her days better and if she doesn't get to a project...there is always tomorrow!

Later...
A rejuvenated Vicki is meeting with her Art to Heart Group.

During their sharing time, Vicki tells her fellow artists about the Kelly Rae Roberts online art class that was just announced.  She hopes to be accepted into the class and will know more next month.

Beatrix Potter will be taking the LifeBook 2014 class with Vicki.  An experienced artist can always learn something new!

Madeleine L'Engle was so intrigued with Vicki's Brene Brown class, she signed up for the repeat of Part I and the new Part II.  She will be Vicki's classmate for Part II.

Bella will also be taking a class with Vicki...Draw Your Awesome Year...and looks forward to brushing up on her drawing skills even though she is an accomplished paper doll artist.

All the artists agree...You must NEVER stop learning or improving your skills.
Vicki just loves her Art to Heart group!

  1. I'm glad they were all able to offer Vicki some good advice. I don't know how Vicki manages to keep up with it all, I think I would get overwhelmed by so many different classes!
