Last night Noah sent me this sweet picture of Abe after dinner. I love his new little sweater.
And then...
An hour later, Amy called and I could hear Abe screaming in the background...not a "normal" baby cry, but screams of pain.
After a quick conversation, Amy went ahead and called Abe's doctor, who after an over the phone assessment, suggested a warm bath and a few other things...and if Abe didn't settle down in a bit, a trip to the emergency room was in order.
The bath did help and for a half hour Abe was his usual happy self...and then the screaming started again! Sounded like some major gas pain to me...but you never know...so off to the hospital they went!
After two minutes, Abe was sound asleep with a peaceful look on his beautiful face and back home he went.
The crisis had past...Thank you, God!
This morning...
Noah stayed home with Abe and today the doctor thought gas or teething might have been the culprit. Abe had the best of sleeps and Noah and Amy are exhausted. Ah...parenthood!
And...on a much less important note...Noah and Amy's dishwasher is broken, so as you can see, Noah has been doing dishes and has decided the dishwasher is a glorious invention.
~What a day~
