Poppy's Paris Adventure

For the Letter O Page of her Paris Alphabet Book, Poppy selected the Orsay Museum.  It is the largest Impressionism museum in the world and features French Art from the years 1848-1915.
The beautiful building was originally a train station.

Even though the Picasso Museum is still closed for renovation work, Poppy's father was able to arrange a private tour of the former hotel and now home to many of Picasso's works of art for his daughter.
The Letter P Page just had to be dedicated to Picasso!

Poppy's favorite piece in the entire museum is Picasso's Nanny Goat.
She loves it with her whole heart and wants to make one of her own when she returns to Hittyville.

The Letter Q was a bit tricky, but Poppy came up with the Latin Quarter, a lively area near several universities.
Poppy's Mimi and Pepe have many fond memories of their student days in Paris.

The Letter R Page will feature the Rail Stations in Paris.  There are 6 major stations in the city center and Becassine is on a train right now headed for her cousin's home just outside Paris.

Poppy has officially adopted Paris as her second hometown.  She is glad to have two more weeks in this exciting city, but is starting to think about Hittyville...
