G Is For Governor
Miss Hitty was unanimously chosen to be the Governor of the Five Boroughs of Hittyville. Governor Hitty...as she is now almost always called...founded Hittyville many years ago and knows every nook and cranny of the land as well as each and every Hittyville Friend.
She is truly a "living" treasure and loved by all.
After MANY years of courtship, Governor Hitty finally agreed to marry Captain Joe. The happy couple live in the Harbor Homestead where Captain Joe spends many hours fishing and catching up on all the Hittyville Harbor news while his busy wife attends to her beloved Hittyville.
Whenever Governor Hitty has a few spare hours, she visits her very first Hittyville Friend, Blue. Blue somehow made her way into the waters surrounding Stone Falls over one hundred years ago and has lived a wonderful and peaceful life in this secluded spot.
Years ago, when Miss Hitty first discovered the beautiful and unsettled area, she met Blue and would ride on her back up and down Meadow Creek into the huge harbor now known as Hittyville Harbor.
Once in a great while, the two fast friends still take a trip...but these days stay close to Stone Falls.
